This is strange. This is very... strange.
[The feed opens on a teenage boy who honestly doesn't look like the picture of health; his hair is a mess, his skin is pale, and even though he's sitting, his posture has a certain slump that doesn't exactly imply "physical strength". Still, even if Nagito Komaeda's body is frail, his mind is still sharp as a tack. ...Well, usually. Sometimes. Depends on the context? Well, it's sharp right now, and that's all that matters.]
[He's silent for a few moments, apparently in deep thought.]
[The first and most obvious conclusion is that this is another ploy by Monobear. Last night, he'd watched the end of the third trial and went to sleep, troubled somewhat by what had happened... and now, not even twenty-four hours later, Monobear had dropped him in a Pokémon region of all places? Was this the motive? If so, why didn't he wait for someone to commit murder on their own first? Honestly, Komaeda can't think of any possible way Monobear could make despair out of the Pokemon world; even if he tried to corrupt it, it would only affect the people who have a strong emotional attachment to the originals. Komaeda could think of no one who might know them except Nanami and himself -- Nanami didn't seem like the killer type, and Komaeda honestly wasn't attached enough to care one way or the other. He honestly couldn't even recall the name of the bull thing he'd been given as a starter.]
[Speaking of Nanami... where is everyone? Komaeda had already tried looking through the network, which raised even more questions. If, again, it was Monobear who did all this, why would he go to the effort of writing so many different entries? Why were there actual people with varied personalities, and not an army of Monobears?]
[...Actually, the bear hasn't shown his face on anything at all so far. And quite honestly, that alarms Komaeda more than if it had. Had something... happened to them? Komaeda plans to find out. Depending on the reaction of the masses, who may be either Monobear's fabrications or real people, he'll get to the bottom of this mystery, just like all the others. First order of business: figure out what's happened outside.]
Oh, I should probably introduce myself...
Nagito Komaeda. That's my name.
Anyhow... has anyone here heard of Hope's Peak Academy? Please tell me what you know.

Nagito Komaeda. That's my name.
Anyhow... has anyone here heard of Hope's Peak Academy? Please tell me what you know.
video; private.
Yes... how similar, exactly, is this place in comparison to the game? Are there any significant differences in mechanics?
video; private.
[ But those are just fighting mechanics. ]
Mm, other mechanics are the same. You can't climb ledges, and you can only have six team members on you at a time...
video; private.
But, you're right, it does change a lot of the battle mechanics! Even just the addition of more moves... and then the types... it could be like learning the game all over again! [He actually looks interested in doing this.]

[ Though she's sticking to the main route in Kanto. Because. ]
Though, I'm doing things properly this time, in Kanto, so...
video; private.
Did you do it improperly in Johto? [Sequence-breaking, perhaps? After all, in a switch from game to reality, the player's pool of options suddenly expands by a lot...]
video; private.
[ Detours and all... ]
video; private.
video; private.
There weren't any...in our world, at least.
video; private.
Hm... alright.
video; private.
[ THEY'RE NICE. Nanami rarely talks to them since Lucy tends to be NPCing when they pop up. ]
video; private.
...There's a prom?
[That is literally the last thing Komaeda expected to hear.]
video; private.
[ shockingly... ]

[ SHRUGS. She hasn't done anything school-related in...ever............. ]
video; private.
[ ... ]
Huh. I wouldn't have expected there to be an event like that.
video; private.
Or anyone else's. ]
Kuzuryuu-kun once, and Hinata-kun, and some of the senpais...
video; private.
[Of course he would latch onto that.]
video; private.
[ It's been months. ]
video; private.
Of course.
[Because why wouldn't he just randomly appear and disappear. Why not. Let's just make Komaeda's life suck even more, yes, that's a good idea.]
video; private.
[ You get used to it... ]
I've been here through all the iterations of our classmates, though.
video; private.
So you were the first.
video; private.
[ Since class one was more inclined to trust her after they bought her AI backstory. Which is 100% true, but. ]
I...get along with the other class a little better than some of the others have done...
[ The Yakuza didn't care about trying, for example... ]
video; private.
[Let's assume this was sent after most of the other messages to the first class, yep.]
video; private.
[ Celes. ]
However, the people who have been here longest...from our class. Haven't always been the friendliest members...so, I've been the only one to bother at some points...? I'm probably bad at explaining...
[ Also, she thinks some of the class 1 skeptics are coming around. ]
...Anyway. If you can call me...regularly...that would be good.
video; private.
[Komaeda's not sure if he wants to count himself as part of that "we". Everyone else should get along with each other, but would anyone -- himself included -- feel comfortable with Komaeda being part of the group at large?]
[He's not sure. But until someone invites him, he won't throw himself upon them.]
Of course! I'll do whatever you ask. How regularly do you want me to check in?
video; private.
video; private. (you wanna just handwave these, or play them out?)
video; private. (EITHER OR. Nanami really does just like to know where her classmates are...)
video; private. (maybe we can just thread them out if something noteworthy happens. :|a)
video; private. (sounds fine to me!)
